I am not willing to believe that this nation is going down. It is this attitude of doubt and unbelief that has caused us to draw away from God. The life He has called us to requires faith. Our relationship with Jesus is established and maintained by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Whatever is not of faith is sin. We need to repent for acting in fear, doubt, and unbelief.
No wonder the world isn’t eager for what we have. It is easy for the world to see hypocrisy. They have no problem discerning when our ‘faith’ is not consistent with our character. We who profess God must walk always in faith, even in the worst of circumstances. It is this unashamed and unwavering reliance on God that the world cannot ignore. Today we must stand to believe for the future and hope that God carries in His heart for our nation. We can’t say we have faith in God, and abandon hope for our nation at the same time. That is double-minded thinking, and James says people with that mentality should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
If you are named as a believer you must stand in faith. The greatest evidence of faith for our nation is to stand in prayer to see God’s will done in America. I have to repent myself of prayerlessness. It is the most prideful state of man to ignore our complete and utter dependence on God by neglecting to pray. Please, believe for God’s hand to be on America. Stand in prayer. It is absolutely your number one priority as a natural citizen of the United States who lives, in truth, as an ambassador and spiritual citizen of the Kingdom of God.
